CIVENEX 2021 presents The Engineers Hub. The hub is a one stop shop for valuable networking with some of Australia’s leading engineers and professionals. Bringing together key figures in the industry, the hub gives you the chance to interact and get an insight into different areas of Engineering studies and practice.

IPWEA (NSW) has been established as a charity with the purpose of advancing the public works sector in Australia, particularly in NSW. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life of NSW communities through excellence in public works and services. We seek to inform, connect, represent and lead public works professionals in NSW. IPWEA NSW will be discussing exactly how the member organisation works, and how you can get directly involved with them delivering engineering services within the community.

Professor Jianchun Li, from The University of Technology Sydney

A Professor of Structural Dynamics and the Director of the Centre for Built Infrastructure Research in Faculty of Engineering and IT. Professor Li will be completing a talk at this year’s CIVENEX on Civitronics Research at UTS - Smart/intelligent Infrastructure and Digital Twinfrastructure.

UTS is a top-ranked young university in Australia, with a vision is to be a leading public university of technology recognised for global impact. Known for innovative teaching and committed to practical innovation and research that benefits industry and society.

Ashley Brinson, Executive Director of The Warren Centre

Ashley has broad experience in R&D, manufacturing, capital project management, international business expansion, technology transfer and public policy, will be attending this year’s Engineering hub. As Co-director of the NSW Circular Economy Innovation Network, Ashley will also be delivering a talk on ‘Building the Circular Economy’ at this years CIVENEX.

The Warren Centre brings industry, government and academia together to create thought leadership in engineering, technology, and innovation.
